Just another tool…..

I love the MSM v-plate to mount my ball head on my Nomad star tracker, using it to start off with a level ball head makes it so much easier to to compose my subject and set up panoramas. My only problem with it (even with the new longer levers) is it can be hard to tighten it enough so it does not slip while using some of my larger camera lens combos. 3-D printing to the rescue again, this little tool makes both the new and the old lever much easier to tighten and using it I have not had any problems even with an R5 and Sigma Art 40mm 1.4 combo, which is not light.

Once again, nothing earth shattering, just a handy little tool. And cheap enough to print a few of them so I don’t feel too bad about the ones I loose on a dark night. This one live hooked to a carabiner on my tripod, but I know I will drop it somewhere.
